beatles19000 sterline, circa 10.300 euro, questo è quanto vale oggi una copia originale a 45 giri di "Please Please Me" dei Beatles che John, Paul, Ringo e George all'epoca autografarono su entrambi i lati all'uscita del Cavern Club ad una loro fan dopo un concerto. L'asta si è tenuta alcuni giorni fa a Liverpool, all' "Institute For Performing Arts", che ha visto battere per 3670 euro anche un berretto appartenuto a Lennon. Stephen Bailey, manager del "Liverpool Beatles Shop", ha riferito che l'anziana signora proprietaria del prezioso singolo, si presentò tempo fa in negozio con in mano la copia autografata di "Please Please Me" dicendo: "Mi chiedevo se per caso questo disco vale qualche spicciolo".
