Elvis Costello

Elvis Costello arriva in Italia per due concerti con la sua nuova band, gli Sugarcanes. Declan Mac Manus (suo vero nome) sarà il 15 luglio a Mantova (Palazzo Te) e il 18 a Tivoli (Villa Adriana). L'ultimo suo disco, "Secret, Profane & Sugarcane", prodotto da T-Bone Burnett e registrato da Mike Piersante al Sound Emporium Studio di Nashville, ha avuto la stessa evoluzione del nuovo album di John Mellencamp. Negli ultimi anni, l'artista si è dato anche alla televisione, ideando e conducendo "Spectacle: Elvis Costello with", trasmissione che ha avuto ospiti prestigiosi come Elton John, Lou Reed, Julian Schnabel, i Police, Rufus Wainwright, Rosanne Cash e Bill Clinton.
